Extensions FAQs

Answers to commonly asked questions about Extensions

What kind of extension can I have built on my property?

You can have a single or double storey extension to the rear or side of your property providing you have enough room of course.

Will there be much disruption while my extension is being built?

With any building work, there will always be some disruption but we do our best to keep this to a minimum and always tidy up as we go so you can still use your home as usual. We do suggest that you put any valuables away safe until we have completed the work.

Can I see some of your previous work?

Yes of course, if you look at our website, you can see all our testimonials from our previous customers along with pictures of the work we have carried out.

How long will my quote be valid for?

Our quotes are normally valid for 6 months as there is always the chance of materials increasing in price throughout this time.

Is it possible to have refurbishment work carried out while my extension is being built?

Yes of course it is. We are asked many times to do refurbishments on the rooms that are joined to an extension. This may be because the room was previously a kitchen but is no longer needed because a new kitchen has been fitted inside the extension.

Will the bricks you use for my extension, match the bricks on my house?

Yes, we will do our best to match the brickwork up perfectly. We can always send you some samples to see, so you can be completely satisfied with the bricks we use.
